Doha: Indian expatriate and former employee of The Peninsula, Anil Kumar Vijayan (pictured), passed away following a heart attack on Friday. He was 56.
Vijayan, a journalist, worked with The Peninsula during its launch in 1996 again had a short stint with the newspaper in 2017.
He had also worked with some of the leading magazines and newspapers in the region in various capacities.
His body was taken to Mumbai yesterday, where his family resides.
He left behind his wife Shirley and two sons, Ritwik and Rohit.
