Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 31.78 points, or 0.25 percent, to close trading at 12,746.10 points yesterday.
The volume of shares traded increased to 270.4 million from 153.85 million on Tuesday and the value of shares increased to QR849m from QR574.68m on Tuesday.
The indices of seven sectors ended in green zone. QSE Total Return Index gained 0.25 percent 25,328.77, QSE Al Rayan Islamic index increased 0.60 percent to 5,226.15 points and QSE All Share Index added 0.38 percent 4,013.29 points.
