Doha: Last year ended on a high note for six-year-old Qatar resident Varshika Vijayabalan, who recorded her name in the International Book of Records.

Varshika achieved the world record of 'Fastest time to identify country flags and its capitals in reverse alphabetical order'. She identified and named all of them in eight minutes, thus entering the International Book of Records.

The Class I student of Doha Modern Indian School set the record on December 28, 2020.

The school, in a statement, congratulated her for her brilliance and expressed appreciation to her parents and teachers for their guidance.
