Toulon, France - Toulon's New Zealand lock Ali Williams was a late withdrawal from the two-time defending champions European Champions Cup pool 3 clash with Toulon on Saturday.
The 33-year-old former All Black great -- who announced on Thursday he would be retiring at the end of the season -- has a back injury according to Toulon.
Williams, a member of the 2011 World Cup winning side, has been replaced in the starting line-up by Jocelino Suta.
Toulon top the group alongside English side Leicester, who have played a game more having beaten Scarlets 40-23 on Friday, with 13 points while Ulster are bottom on six points.
