CR Flamengo’s players during their training session in Doha yesterday, ahead of their FIFA Club World Cup semi-final match against Al Hilal to be played at Khalifa International Stadium tomorrow. The Brazilian side, which landed in the Qatari capital on Saturday, secured qualification by winning CONMEBOL’s Copa Libertadores. CR Flamengo won their second-ever Copa Libertadores in November, beating Argentina’s River Plate 2-1 in the final, and the team also recently won the Brazilian Serie A title. Thousands of Flamengo fans are expected to back their side in the semi-final.
