DOHA: Over 300 business leaders, including top representatives of a host of European and local companies and senior diplomats, will participate at the 15th edition the ‘Back 2 Business’ (B2B) networking event, which will take place on October 29 at W Doha Hotel.
The latest edition of the business networking event, which has been taking place in Doha since 2004, will also see the participation of several new sectors, which include food, tourism and representatives from legal firms, as business activities in these important sectors have seen phenomenal surged over the last one year.
The launch of the high profile event was announced yesterday at a joint press conference attended by German Ambassador to Qatar Hans-Udo Muzel and Italian Ambassador to Qatar Pasquale Salzano.
The press conference was also addressed by Palma Libotte, Founder and Chairperson of Italian Chamber of Commerce in Qatar, and Kathrin Lemke, Representative of the German Industry and Commerce Office (AHK), who are the main organisors of the B2B event.
“In the B2B networking event we have a format to create a platform where local and international businesses and experts will exchange information about the market trends and the latest developments to encourage synergies to create new joint ventures and partnerships in the coming days,” Libotte said.
Qatar Airways is the Official Airline Sponsor.Many businessmen from around the world, including major European countries such as Germany, Italy and Sweden, are expected to travel to Doha to attend the event.
The international business communities, embassies and business councils will join the B2B meet.
