Director of the Information Office at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Ahmed bin Saeed Al Rumaihi said the building of Qatar’s Embassy in the Somali capital has been severely damaged by the car bomb explosion near the embassy building on the K5 Junction. The Ministry contacted the embassy to check on the Qatari diplomats, the managers, as well as the rest of the Embassy staff. The Charge d’affaires was slightly injured in the explosion but he is now in good health.
