Sheikh Abdulla bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center run by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs organised cultural and entertainment programmes for construction workers.
More than 600 labourers from a giant construction company participated in the programme entitled “they have right” at which they were introduced various activities of the Center, like courses of Arabic language. The programme held under social partnership between Center and companies and institutions for creating awareness among labourers and employees and to granting them the rights of entertainment and relaxation. The workers also were introduced about Islam and local culture.
Meanwhile, the centre hosted 21 expatriates of western countries and introduced them with local traditional hospitality, last week. The Library of the Center distributed 3,433 books in different languages from its publication to members and international organizations, last week.
