Doha: Commercial Bank has launched another exciting, “Register, Tap N’ Earn” campaign following the huge success and overwhelming customer response of its prior Tap N Pay campaign launched earlier in the first quarter of this year.
CB customers who have not yet enjoyed the seamless experience of paying with their mobile phones are encouraged to register their cards on the CBQ Mobile App and use it for in-store payments.
The “Register, Tap N’ Earn” campaign that runs from August 15 to October 31, 2021, reflects the Bank’s digital leadership in the market. CB customers, who use Android operated mobile phones, are invited to use CB Pay, Qatar’s first Cards digital mobile wallet, for the chance to earn QR50 by registering for their first CB Pay tap transaction and additionally earn QR10 for every subsequent tap, up to a maximum total of QR200 guaranteed cash prize over the campaign period.
To seize this opportunity, customers just have to login to the CBQ Mobile App using their Android mobile phone, digitise their CB Credit or Debit Cards by selecting CB Pay under Card services and start using the Android mobile phone for their in-store POS purchases.

As a digital pioneer, Commercial Bank introduced CB Pay, the first-ever Cards digital mobile wallet in Qatar over a year ago. It provides safer and faster payment options, whereby customers can simply select the CB Credit or Debit card they wish to add to their mobile phones.
CB Pay can be used locally and abroad and allows online payments, in-store payments (Android phones only), and a better card control. Commercial Bank contactless card offering “Tap & Pay” has been a huge success and complemented the Qatari government’s COVID-19 measures of safe and hygienic payments.
Within three years of launching its contactless technology, Commercial Bank has successfully reached over 17 million taps, by customers using their contactless cards and devices at their favourite local and international outlets.
