Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) benchmark index gained 65.52 points, or 0.67 percent, when the bourse closed trading at 9,864.26 points yesterday.
The volume of shares traded increased to 24.74 million from 23.89 million on Tuesday and the value of shares increased to QR706.49m from QR628.60m on Tuesday.
From the 49 companies listed on QSE, shares of 45 saw trading, yesterday. From these, 30 companies gained, 12 closed lower and remained three companies remained unchanged.
Indices of all sectors ended in green zone today. QSE Total Return Index increased 0.67 percent to 18,151.07 points and QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index gained 1.18 percent to 3,885.34 points. QSE All Share Index increased 1.20 percent to 2,962.45 points.
