Impressive results in women’s pistol and rifle events at Nishan Tournament

Doha: The pistol and Rifle events (10m) of the fourth edition of the  2022 Nishan Vodafone Ramadan Tournament have seen impressive results from women at the Lusail Shooting Range on Thursday night.

This community tournament is being organised under the patronage of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) President H E Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani from April 3 to 19, with the participation of more than  500 competitors in both the amateur and professional events.

In day three’s pistol and rifle competitions,  Maha Said Abdulhai leads the group (C) after she collected (167 points) in pistol event and (139 points) in the rifle event to hit highest score (306 points), while Huda Hossain Al Yafae came second with (296  points) and the third place went to Aysha Abdulahai with (295 points), Mona Naser Faraj Al Nubi finished in fourth place (274 points) and  Lolowa Mohammed Al Buainen took the fifth place ( 264 points).

The tournament aims to discover the most talented elements in the game, develop their skills and helping clubs and national teams to achieve quantum leap in the game and promoting this sport among citizens and residents whose rate of participation in the game rises sharply year by year.
