Doha: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani spoke through video conference at this year's Raisina Dialogue, hosted by the Observer Research Foundation, a Doha Forum partner, and in partnership with the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.
In a video shared by Doha Forum on its Twitter account, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs stated: "We have been negotiating and talking to the vaccination providers on how we can make sure that everyone attending the World Cup is vaccinated."

In a separate video, the Deputy PM also added that "right now there are programmes under development to provide vaccination for all the attendees of the World Cup and we will be able, hopefully, to host it as a Covid-free event."
Raisina Dialogue is a multilateral conference committed to addressing the most challenging issues facing the global community. This year, the conference was hosted in a hybrid format offering in-person conversations and digital discussions.
