Ramallah: A Palestinian was martyred on Monday by Israeli occupation forces' fire in the city of Qalqilya in the West Bank.
Local sources reported that occupation forces opened fire on an 18-year-old Palestinian man while he was near the separation wall at the northern entrance to the city.
He was shot in the chest and transported by the Palestinian Red Crescent to the hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead from his injuries.
In a related incident, several Palestinians suffered from tear gas inhalation during an Israeli raid on the village of Al Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah.
Sources indicated that the occupation forces stormed the village, firing stun grenades and tear gas canisters at homes, causing several residents to suffer from tear gas inhalation.
The occupation forces also arrested four Palestinians from the Aqabat Jabr refugee camp, south of Jericho.
The Palestinian Prisoners Club reported that an Israeli special forces unit infiltrated the camp in a vehicle bearing Palestinian license plates and arrested four young men.
The club added that Israeli forces assaulted several residents during the raid.
Cities, towns, and refugee camps in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem witness daily raids and incursions by Israeli forces, accompanied by clashes, arrests, and the use of live ammunition, rubber-coated bullets, and tear gas against Palestinian youth.
