Screen For Life, Qatar’s National Breast and Bowel Cancer Screening program, led by the Primary Health Care Corporation is marking the occasion of Qatar National Day (QND) by reminding the public to take a positive approach with their health and undergo a complimentary breast and/ or bowel cancer screening.
The three dedicated ‘Screen For Life’ screening units at Al Wakrah, Leabaib and Rawdat Al Khail Health Centers offer breast and bowel cancer screening in their spa-like facilities, putting patients at ease and providing ultimate privacy.
The message on this special occasion forms a key component in the ongoing ‘Screen For Life’ efforts to raise awareness of the programme’s goals and initiatives and the benefits of screening in the early detection of cancer. “Qatar National Day is also a great occasion on which the people of Qatar can play a part in the country’s future by taking the lead with their health. A healthy population is a happier, more prosperous one,” said Dr Shaikha Abu Shaikha, Cancer Program Manager, PHCC.
