Qatar Golf Lovers (QGL) participants pose for a picture at Doha Golf Club. Albert Dalton and Phil Welsh won Flights A and B respectively at the season opening golf tournament. Laurie Tulk won the second prize in Flight A while Peter Reynolds was runner-up in Flight B in the competition that was participated by 68 golfers. Steve Dewar won the ‘longest putt’, DeWet Espach triumphed in the ‘closest to pin’ category, Frederic Andre won the ‘longest drive’, and Jeff Francis won the ‘closest to rope’ prizes.
