Shantiniketan Indian School celebrated World Environment Day in collaboration with Galfar Al Misnad in the school campus. Many awareness programmes and competitions for students were organised. The theme of the event was “Raise your voice, not the sea level.” A seminar on pollution was organised by students of the secondary and senior secondary sections. Students and staff planted many trees in the campus. A drawing competition with the theme, ‘Save Earth’ was organised by Galfar. Winners in the various competitions were felicitated.
