Doha: Mumbai Police has taken action against Amitabh Bachchan for violating traffic rules after the Bollywood megastar was spotted riding pillion on a stranger's motorbike in Mumbai without a helmet.
The veteran actor shared a photo of himself with an elderly man on a Royal Enfield Himalayan bike, expressing gratitude for the timely assistance, captioned, "Thank you for the ride, buddy... I don't know you, but you obliged and got me to my work location on time, faster and evading the unsolvable traffic jams. Thank you, capped, shorts, and yellowed T-shirt owner."
This gesture by the legendary actor garnered attention and admiration from fans and industry peers alike.
Other people on social media however were quick to point out that the seasoned actor was riding without a helmet.
After pointing it out to the concerned authorities on social media, the police notified the complainants that action will be taken.
