Doha: The Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani inaugurated the Barzan Gas Project in a ceremony held at the Ras Laffan Industrial City on Tuesday morning, March 15, 2022.
The ceremony was attended by H E Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and H E Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Ghanim, Speaker of Shura Council, as well as a number of Their Excellencies Sheikhs, ministers and officials of companies participating in the project.
After the opening, the Amir toured the project facilities, during which he also witnessed a presentation explaining the project's role in achieving sustainable growth and meeting local gas supply needs. The ceremony included a presentation of a documentary film about the project and its stages of completion.
