Doha: GWC, the leading logistics provider for the State of Qatar, will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) virtually through Microsoft Teams today, in light of the current circumstances and in adherence with the precautionary measures taken to curb the outbreak of COVID-19. The registration will start at 4:30pm and the meeting will commence at 6:30pm. In case the quorum is incomplete, the second meeting will be held on Monday (February 22, 2021).
The meeting agenda includes reviewing and approving the company’s financials for the year ended 2020, assigning the external auditors for 2021, electing the new board of directors for the 2021-2023 term, approving the dividends distribution to shareholders of QR0.10 (10 percent), and discussing the Governance report and approving it.
