DOHA: Over 25 global IT experts will get together in Qatar to discuss opportunities and challenges related to smart ticketing at the upcoming ‘Qatar Smart Ticketing and Digital Services Forum’ to be held from February 17-18.
The two-day event dedicated to the digital services will also reunite major ITS industries and actors of Public Transport. Ticketing system, role of transport operators, contactless, interoperability, open payment system are some of the important topic to be discussed at the event.
The Forum aims to provide its contributor with the most-advanced information about the services, the technologies, and the actors that allow public transport to actually be at the heart of the Smart City.
The conference will take place at Marriott Marquis City Center Doha Hotel. The conference is being held at a time when numerous transport projects are currently deployed in the GGC including Qatar. Parallel to the conference, an exhibition space is going to be dedicated to manufacturers and service providers, to present their offer and their expertise, and to demonstrate their solutions to the participants.
