DOHA:  PwC Qatar recently welcomed a number of high-potential graduates as part of its annual local internship programme and the wider National Capability Development Initiative. This serves as a development programme for the next generation of Qatari leaders and decision makers.

The interns went through an assessment process based on their academic excellence and business acumen. The graduates chosen are high academic achievers from top universities in Qatar and around the world, with multiple academic and extracurricular awards. In addition, we conducted multiple interviews to evaluate character, skills, and learning agility.

The interns are adjusting well in our professional environment; they have attended induction, specific project orientation, and have joined various teams to support our firm’s key engagements. The interns will be working on the following engagements: the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Public Health, and Qatar Media Corporation.

Qatar Country Senior Partner, Bassam Hajhamad said: “This programme has given us an opportunity to reinforce our commitment to the local community and our clients. It also enhances our value proposition for a key target talent group. The clients’ feedback has been unequivocally positive, they greatly appreciate our continued commitment towards the development of the Qatari talent.”
