Doha: Speaker of the Shura Council H E Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim met yesterday with Speaker of the Croatian Parliament H E Gordan Jandrokovic, who is visiting Qatar to attend the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 matches.
The meeting reviewed parliamentary cooperation and relations between the two friendly countries, and ways to boost and develop them.
During the meeting, the Speaker of the Croatian Parliament hailed Qatar’s great organisation of the World Cup, which reflected the country’s excellent level of preparations for the global event.
He also expressed admiration for the country’s current multi-field progress and renaissance.
The meeting was attended by a number Their Excellencies members of the Shura Council.
