Gulf Exchange unveils Turkish version of its website

In celebration of the Republic Day of Turkey, Gulf Exchange launched its Turkish website (www.gulfexchange.com.qa/tr ) with the presence of partners, senior management,  staff, and distinguished guests. Jaafar Ali Al Sarraf, General Manager of Gulf Exchange, has congratulated the Turkish community in Qatar on their national day. He said that the Turkish website resembles Gulf Exchange commitment to support the economic growth in both countries as more than 10,000 Turks are living in Qatar and speaking Turkish language.

Among the distinguished guests was Murat Kastan, Executive Vice-President International Partnerships of UPT Money Transfer, which is a subsidiary of Aktif Bank in Turkey. He expressed his happiness to witness the efforts of Gulf Exchange to launch its Turkish website, which is first among any exchange or financial institution in Qatar. He added that future collaboration with Gulf Exchange would enable customers to transfer money through bank accounts or cash pickups at 8,000 locations in Turkey.  

The Turkish version is the 6th website for Gulf Exchange according to Ahmad Ali Al Sarraf, Deputy General Manager of Gulf Exchange, which also has websites in Arabic, English, Hindi, Bangladeshi, and Nepali. He has extended his sincere gratitude for the great efforts of the company’s staff to successfully launch these websites and ensure staying close to customers for service excellence and he acknowledged recent achievements including partnership with Ooredoo to promote instant mobile money transfers.

Gulf Exchange has recently obtained UKAS-accredited ISO 9001 certification for Quality Management System. Suhail Hussain, Treasury Manager, conveyed his pride to witness such developments and he thrives toward achieving ISO 27001 certification for Information Security Management System.

The Company has clear vision and aspiration for the future as confirmed by Mustafa MP, Finance Manager. He also said that Gulf Exchange always strives to provide customers faster and more convenient solutions to transfer money globally and to Turkey in particular.
