Minister of State and Chairman of QFZA, H E Ahmad bin Mohammed Al Sayed, participating in the virtual “Discover Global Markets” conference, which was hosted by the US Department of Commerce, and took place in Indianapolis, USA, yesterday.
Doha: Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZA) participated in the virtual “Discover Global Markets” conference, which was hosted by the US Department of Commerce, and took place in Indianapolis, USA, under the patronage of Wilbur Ross, the United States Secretary of Commerce.
The Minister of State and Chairman of QFZA, H E Ahmad bin Mohammed Al Sayed, led the delegation that included the Deputy Chief Executive Officer and a number of senior officials from QFZA.
QFZA also participated in the virtual roundtable for the US semiconductors’ industry, which was held on the conference sidelines, where the Minister of State and Chairman of QFZA delivered an opening speech to the representatives of the sector. The objective of holding the roundtable was to discuss aspects of cooperation between Qatar and major US companies in the semiconductors industry. The virtual meeting was also attended by senior officials from QFZA and regulators of the semiconductors sector and representatives of US companies in the industry.
