Bollywood star Deepika Padukone launched her website last week and it was a treat for her fans. She left a handwritten note on her Instagram a day before the launch leaving her fans confused.
DeepikaPadukone.com the website offers her fans her latest pictures, personal closet, movie releases, brand associations, members-only access and much more.
She also added a voice memo mentioning how the website, which has been in the works for months, got delayed due to Covid-19.
The “Biography” section has got testimonial from her husband Ranveer Singh, who calls himself the proudest husband of the world and he cannot stop admiring his wife.
There are also testimonials by Farah Khan, Kabir Khan and fashion designer Sabyasachi.
The website also has a sub-category called “Closet” which directs the user to the personal closet of Deepika from where fans can buy different types of clothes, shoes, sunglasses and accessories. The proceeds from this go to her foundation “LiveLoveLaugh.”
Some of the outfits are worn by the actress herself and a picture is shown next to the product while she is wearing it.
Padukone based on her personal journey, built a foundation called LiveLoveLaugh in 2015, which creates awareness about anxiety, depression and stress and provides mental health resources.
She has been named by TIME magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in the world and Forbes magazine has listed her amongst the 10 highest-paid actresses in the world.
Deepika was last seen in Chhapak and will be seen next in 83, a sports film about India's victory at the 1983 Cricket World Cup, starring Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev.
