Doha: Qatar Fuel (Woqod) Chief Executive Officer Saad Rashid Al Muhannadi announced yesterday that Qatar Fuel Board of Directors held its sixth meeting for the year yesterday at Woqod Tower West Bay, which was presided over by Ahmed Saif Al Sulaiti, Chairman of the Board.
The Board endorsed the Board of Directors Charter which was formulated as per the requisites of the Commercial Companies Governance Code issued by the Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA) and promulgated in the Official Gazette on May 15, 2018.
The Board has also issued a resolution endorsing the Disclosure, Conflict of Interest, Dealings, and Information Secrecy Regulations of the Board of Directors, which was also formulated as per the requisites of the said governance code.
The Board endorsed the Code of Ethics, Conflict of Interest & Secrecy of Information Manual applicable to Company Personnel. Other than the forgoing, the board reviewed routine matters such as the safety report, staff annual bonus and other non-financial matters.
