The South African tech company Innovo Networks, which claims to offer cutting-edge technology and AI-enabled firewall that not only protects websites from any possible attacks, but can also identify and track their origins and other details.
The company, which offers a wide-range of world-class products and solutions related to communication, connectivity, cloud-based solutions, cybersecurity and network management services, is planning forge partnership with local firms to expand and grow its operations in Qatar and the region.
“We supply and provide only best of breed IT products and services. Our products and solutions are as good as that of industry leaders from the US, Germany and other European countries. They are just like others in the Gartner’s Magic Quadrant (MQ) offerings. We supply cutting-edge and state-of-the-art quality products. Some of the advanced countries actually buy products from us,” Damian Michael (pictured), a top official of Innovo Networks, told The Peninsula recently.
Michael added: “Our Company offers business-to-business services. We want to collaborate with some local Qatari partner to grow in Qatar and also reach out to other markets in the region. In addition, we would also like to train, educate in terms of skill development and grow the human resource to contribute in Qatar’s journey to a become knowledge-based society.”
He noted that South Africa is a country which is highly tech-savvy, highly skilled. There are a lot of intellectual property rights, information, data and skills that the company can actually bring into Qatar for mutual interests.
Innovo Networks is a high touch business focused on voice, data and cloud. It provides cloud-based solutions, communication, connectivity, and cybersecurity. Some of its products are based on artificial intelligence (AI).
“We use AI or chatbot (a piece of software that conducts a conversation) to implement sales processes or customer service automation processes. We also provide a face-to- face scoping session with an engineer who architects the right solution for businesses,” said Michael.
“I think AI would be a great tool for Qatari companies and organisations, especially with regard to the upcoming 2022 Fifa World Cup. We have some cybersecurity products like web application fire wall to secure websites against attacks. We can actually see the origin of the attacks, the IP address, the date and time, and the type of attacks. Given Qatar’s high-profile and critical nature of business and services such as energy, banking, finance, telecom and others, cybersecurity and preemptive measures is inevitable,” he pointed out.
