The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani sent a cable of condolences to Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh HH Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, and his brother Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan on the death of President of the state HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.
