Second Division champions Al Shamal players celebrate with the League trophy.
Al Shamal were crowned champions of the Second Division and qualified for the QNB Stars League’s next season following their 3-0 win over Al Shahaniya in their last League match played at Hamad bin Khalifa Stadium.
The presentation ceremony took place under the Qatar Football Association’s preventive measures to avoid COVID-19 risks as the players, and the technical and administrative staff received the gold medals and the League shield.
For Al Shamal, Majid Mohamed, Yannick Sagbo and Baha Faisal scored against Al Shahaniya.
Al Shahaniya will play the play-off match against Al Khor for a place in the next season's QNB Stars League on May 4 at Qatar SC Stardium.
