Doha: The second phase of the new Field Hospital at Hazm Mebaireek General Hospital opens today.
The Hamad Medical Corporation made this announcement on its Twitter account stating that the second phase of the new Field Hospital at Hazm Mebaireek General Hospital, which provides an additional 100 acute beds to care for COVID-19 patients, opened today.
Prior to this as part of the healthcare sector’s measures to boost hospital capacity and meet increasing demand due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases, Al Wakra Hospital had been designated as a facility to care for COVID-19 patients.
