DOHA: Qatar’s promising young star Rashid Nawaf booked a place in the quarter-finals of the Qatar Asian U-14 Tennis Tournament 201 after defeating Pakistan’s counterpart Ibrahim Khan 6-1 and 6-1 yesterday.
Nawaf is scheduled to lock horns against Saman Ridayyan of Iran in the next round.
The prestigious event is hosted by the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation for one week in collaboration with the Asian Federation.
