Doha: Qatar’s Nawaf Al Sowaidi clinched the overall title in the cars category at the second round of the Qatar Off-Road Championship (QORC), which was held at Sealine Desert Track yesterday.

Al Sowaidi completed his 12 laps in a time of 1:08.46 seconds, to finish ahead of Abdulla Al Khelaifi and Ahmed Al Muhannadi.

Mohamed Al Balooshi extended his overall lead after winning the bikes 450cc class yesterday. Al Balooshi has 43 points, with four more rounds remaining.
Michael Anderson was second yesterday, followed by Khaled Al Fayez.
