Doha, Qatar: The Qatari football club, Al Markhiya SC has signed French defender Naby Sarr from the English club, Reading FC.
The contract signing took place with club Vice-President Khaled Al Kubaisi and General Manager Misfer Al Musifri.
Sarr has previously played for Huddersfield Town in the English Premier League and the French club, Red Star.
This signing is part of Al Markhya FC's plan to strengthen their team with international professional players. In addition to Sarr, the club has also signed British coach Antoni Hudson and Gambian player, Yusupha Njie.
This continues the club's endeavor to sign foreign talent, as they work towards achieving greater success in the upcoming season.
