Deputy Emir H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani visited yesterday the National Service Authority at Muqdam Camp in Umm Salal.
The Deputy Emir toured various facilities including the fields of training, lecture halls, sports halls and other centres affiliated to the camp.
He was also briefed by senior officers on the facilities and technical equipment.
He also inspected the Muqdam Camp Academy and the shooting field, in addition to the health centre of Muqdam Camp, which provides all kinds of medical services to officers and national service personnel, as well as clinics and emergency department.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs, H E Dr Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah, and a number of senior officers accompanied the Deputy Emir during the visit.
