Los Angeles---Britain's Eddie Redmayne took home the Golden Globe for best actor in a dramatic film on Sunday for his portrayal of physicist Stephen Hawking in "The Theory of Everything."
Redmayne bested Steve Carell ("Foxcatcher"), Benedict Cumberbatch ("The Imitation Game"), Jake Gyllenhaal ("Nightcrawler") and David Oyelowo ("Selma").
