Doha: Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani inaugurated on Tuesday morning the new Al Khor Health and Wellness Center of the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC).
The Prime Minister toured the new health center and was briefed about the specialized clinics and departments equipped with the latest medical technologies offering primary health care services, and health and wellness facilities. He was also briefed about the health services available to patients in the new health center.
HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior was accompanied by Minister of Public Health HE Dr. Hanan Mohamed Al Kuwari and a number of senior officials in the health sector.
The opening of the center comes as part of the state's efforts to provide the best health care for the population, and as part of the comprehensive expansion and constant upgrade of health centers that provide primary care services.
The new Al Khor Health Center replaced the previous one, with a capacity of 5,000 patients.
