Doha, Qatar: University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) welcomed the 2025 edition of the Clubs Fair, turning the University’s courtyard into a vibrant hub of creativity, leadership, and student-driven innovation.

Organised by the Student Engagement Department under the Student Affairs Directorate, the event stands as a key milestone in campus life that continues to expand in both reach and impact. This year, the fair was held under the immersive theme, “The Time of the Century”, inviting students to journey through different eras and moments in time. Each student club represented a distinct period, creating unique setups that allowed attendees to explore and interact with the culture, energy, and personality of that era.

The E-Gaming Club, for example, transported visitors into the future, while the Music Club revived the colourful and dynamic vibe of the 1980s.

With over 32 student clubs participating, the fair featured a wide range of interests and passions, including photography, art, music, film, entrepreneurship, sports, health, and more.

Exciting new additions this year included the Fan Club, Podcast Club, Healthcare Management Club, and International Students Association, providing students with fresh opportunities to discover new hobbies, connect with peers, and engage in university life.

The fair also reinforced UDST’s philosophy of being “by students, for students”, with students conceptualising, designing, and managing their booths, thereby promoting ownership, leadership, and accountability.

Dr. Salem Al-Naemi, President of UDST, said, “At UDST, student engagement is a key pillar of our educational philosophy.

The Clubs Fair is a celebration of our students’ creativity, leadership, and passion. Events like this enrich the student experience and help shape responsible, innovative graduates who contribute meaningfully to society.”

To recognise student efforts, the University presented awards including “Best Booth Design” and “Most Engaging Club”, encouraging healthy competition and inspiring continued creativity and collaboration.
