Doha, Qatar: In a vibrant tableau reflecting the spirit of creativity and excellence, Al-Arabi Sports Club brought down the curtain on its summer activities amid festive atmospheres filled with joy and pride.
This distinguished and successful conclusion crowned weeks of hard work and diverse programmes that attracted hundreds of children and youth, reaffirming the club’s well-deserved leadership as an integrated ecosystem that goes beyond sports alone, extending to become a pioneering national, educational, and cultural incubator in Qatari society under the supervision of the Ministry of Sports and Youth.
Al-Arabi’s summer activities this year featured a packed schedule of qualitative programmes carefully designed to meet the aspirations of participants across various age groups.
The Summer Activity Management and the Youth Committee ensured a unique balance among sporting, cultural, recreational, and awareness-raising aspects.
The activities included a wide array of targeted workshops covering vital areas such as digital security and traffic and digital safety, alongside health, environmental, and agricultural lectures that promoted concepts of sustainability among the younger generations.
Additionally, a joint collaboration with the Department of Da’wah and Religious Guidance at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs organized targeted lectures and qualitative workshops throughout the 2026 summer activity period, featuring a group of preachers and educators from the ministry.
The activities were not confined to the club’s walls; they also materialized in well-planned field, recreational, and cognitive trips. These included exceptional visits to amusement and entertainment parks to renew the children’s energies and break the daily routine, alongside prominent educational and historical excursions such as visiting the “National Museum of Qatar” and sports museums.
These visits connected the youth to their country’s deep-rooted past, rich cultural and civilizational heritage, and bright present, embedding within them the values of belonging, national pride, and appreciation for authentic Qatari identity.
The closing ceremony witnessed joyful, interactive atmospheres featuring a collection of competitions and entertaining games that brought delight to the participants’ hearts. The ceremony included honouring winning teams across various competitions and activities, alongside distributing commemorative gifts to all participants as a form of motivation and appreciation for their outstanding engagement throughout the programme.
The success of this conclusion translates the strategic vision of the Youth Committee at Al-Arabi Sports Club and its profound societal mission into reality. With the support and guidance of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the club believes that its role extends beyond organizing fleeting seasonal events to serving as a primary platform for building balanced youth character, discovering and refining talents, and directing the energies of the youth toward positive, constructive paths.
