The new season of the League kicks off on August 16 at FIFA World Cup stadiums, with Al Wakrah taking on Muaither SC at 18:30 at Al Janoub Stadium in the opening match. The match will be followed by Al Arabi vs Al Shamal at 20:30 at Al Thumama Stadium.
On next day, Qatar SC clash with Al Gharafa at 18:30 at Khalifa International Stadium, while Al Markhiya are set to challenge Al Rayyan at 20:30 at Al Janoub Stadium. On the last day of the opening week, Al Ahli and Al Duhail meet at 18:30 at Al Thumama Stadium, and Umm Salal face Al Sadd at 20:30 at Al Bayt stadium.
Organisers had earlier announced that the match dates and kick-off times will be amended after Week 3, following the release of 2023-2024 AFC Champions League schedule.
