Qatar administers over four million Covid-19 vaccine doses

Doha: The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has announced that a significant milestone has been reached for the country's National COVID-19 Vaccination Program as the total number of administered doses surpassed four million.

To date, the total number of vaccine doses administered is 4,012,536.

88.8% of the eligible population (12 years and over) have received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. While, 74.9% of the eligible population have received two doses of the vaccine. 

According to the Ministry's latest Covid-19 update, the total number of vaccine doses administered in the last 24 hours was 21,570. 

Furthermore, 77% of the total population have now received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, and 65% of the total population have received two vaccine doses. 

In a statement on Twitter, MoPH stated: "Thank you to everyone who has taken the vaccine. If you have not yet been vaccinated, act now to protect yourself, your family and help us return to normal life."
