India's forex reserves fall below 700 bln: USD

New Delhi: India's foreign exchange (forex) reserves fell below the 700 billion U.S. dollars mark on Friday, revealed an official data.

The country's forex reserves stood at 699.736 billion U.S. dollars after falling by 3.049 billion U.S. dollars during the week ended July 4, as per the weekly bulletin released by the central bank, the Reserve Bank of India.

This was the first occasion when India's forex reserves had fallen after rising for two consecutive weeks.
