Doha: On the killing of Al Jazeera's correspondent in Palestine Shireen Abu Akleh, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani said that such horrific crimes committed by the occupying forces against the defenseless Palestinian people should not be overlooked without accountability.
“I extend my sincere condolences and sincere sympathy to the family of journalist Shireen Abu Akleh and to her colleagues in Al Jazeera network and the media community,” he said.
Deputy prime minister and foreign minister tweeted that “Such horrific crimes committed by the occupying forces against the defenseless Palestinian people should not be overlooked without accountability, nor should they be subject to double standards.”
