Doha: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) announces a temporary closure on Ibn Dirham Street in both directions in the section between Al Arab Street and the B Ring Road, starting Saturday February 13, 2021 for a period of 3 months, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, to enable completion of infrastructure works, as part of the B Ring Road Upgrade Project.
During this time, road users wishing to use Ibn Dirham Street will be required to use parallel streets such as Al Bara bin Malik Street and Al Urouba Street to reach their destinations, as shown in the attached map.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary closure. Ashghal urged all road users to abide by the speed limit, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
