Indian Association of Bihar and Jharkhand (IABJ) recently organised a blood donation campaign at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC).
More than fifty members of IABJ were present for the event and more than a dozen members donated blood during the campaign.
The campaign was coordinated by Executive Member of IABJ Hamid Raza.
Media Secretory Khalid Hussain said that IABJ will be organizing Blood Donation Campaign every year. IABJ General Secretory Syed Alim Akhtar thanked every one for attending the event.
“The blood donation campaign stems from our understanding of the importance of supporting the Blood Centre at Hamad Medical Corporation and other health institutions, due to the growing need for blood and its importance in the health and lives of people,” Faruque Ahmad, President of IABJ, said.
