Doha: NeXTFairs, the leading and specialized company in organizing events, has signed a cooperation agreement with Qatar Society of Engineers (QSE). The agreement focuses on enhancing mutual cooperation and participating in the various events held by both parties which will, in turn, enhance the events serving engineers and the whole engineering sector. The pact was signed by QSE Chairman Khalid bin Ahmed Alnasr and NeXTFairs General Manager & Co-founder Rawad Sleem.
Rawad Sleem, said: “We are pleased to sign this important agreement with QSE, as it will be mutually beneficial for both parties, subsequently, developing and pushing the Qatari engineering sector forward and also contributing effectively in organizing the events, exhibitions and activities that will be held by QSE in the future. This agreement enhances the growth opportunities of the business events sector in Qatar, which is developing at an accelerated pace, pointing out that the fruitful collaboration was preceded by announcing QSE as Association Partner for the second edition of Build your House exhibition, which will be held at the Qatar National Convention Center from March 22 to 24, 2021.
Sleem emphasized the existing solid relationship between NeXTFairs and QSE, which was strengthened through the association’s participation in the first edition of Build your House exhibition (BYH) and then developed into a joint strategic cooperation in the events, indicating that the participation of QSE in BYH 2021 is of great importance as the association plays a major role in the development of the engineering sector and other related sectors such as construction and design, which promotes the development process in Qatar.
Sleem added that the participation of entities such as QSE and other prominent companies in BYH 2021 provides various options for Qatari citizens who visit the exhibition to build or renovate their houses, as the exhibition has become an important platform that connects visitors with contractors and consultants to enable them to define their options and make decisions related to the construction process. The wide participation of about 200 companies in the coming event helps in highlighting the latest trends in the construction sector, especially through the use of modern sustainable building materials which will increase the growth of the smart building market and significantly contribute to rationalizing the consumption of energy.
Khalid bin Ahmed Alnasr, said: “We look forward, upon the agreement with NeXTFairs, to strengthening cooperation at all levels between us during the upcoming period, through a package of activities and events that enhance the partnership between both parties and support the local market, especially since NeXTFairs is one of the major companies specialized in organizing events in the local market, in addition to being recognized as a market leader in providing integrated business solutions in various sectors, as well as having more than 15 years of experience in the MENA market.
Al Nasr pointed out that the participation of QSE in the second edition of BYH exhibition as an Association Partner reflects the association’s continuing role in providing distinguished professional services according to the highest engineering standards, noting that BYH 2021 exhibition has succeeded in attracting wide participation from the government and private sectors. During the exhibition days, representatives of government agencies meet with citizens and actors in the housing and construction sector, such as the Ministry of Commerce and Trade, the Ministry of Municipality and Environment, General Administration of Civil Defense, Public Works Authority (Ashghal), and Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation “KAHRAMAA”, in addition to QSE and other parties from the government and private sectors.
