Malaysia Industrial Production Rise in September

Kuala Lumpur: The Malaysian Department of Statistics showed that Malaysian manufacturing sales value climbed 5.4 percent yearly to MYR 58.5 billion in September from MYR 55.5 billion in the corresponding month last year.
Month-on-month, manufacturing sales value rose 4.0 percent and on a seasonally adjusted basis, the value went up by 4.4 percent.
The average wages and salaries paid per employee in September grew by 4.2 percent annually and it increased by 1.3 percent from the preceding month. 
Productivity or average sales value per employee in September rose by 5.8 percent compared with a year ago. Monthly, productivity gained 4.0 percent.
