QSL holds co-ordination meeting with club coaches

The Qatar Stars League (QSL) held a co-ordination meeting with QNB Stars League and Second Division League coaches at its headquarters at Al Bidda Tower, in line with its policy of continuous consultation and co-ordination between the two parties.

The meeting was attended by top officials including Ahmed Khellil Abbassi, Executive Director of Competitions and Football Development at QSL, Ahmed Al Adsani, Director of Competitions Department at QSL, Miguel Heitor, Acting Director of Football Development at QSL, Ali Hamoud Al Nuaimi, Head of Competitions at Qatar Football Association (QFA), and Abdullah Al Balooshi, representative of QFA’s Referees’ Committee.

During the meeting, Abbassi stressed the importance of having such meetings, development process between QSL and clubs, and increasing the technical level of tournaments and players.

“We met with the coaches to get their views on how to contribute towards the development of league championship, professionalism and football in general, based on their technical expertise. We’ve coaches with high technical levels. Benefiting from their wide experience through direct communication is very important as they’re an essential part of the football system,” Abbassi said.

The meeting also discussed a number of important points, such as development of football and key technical observations made by the coaches.
