Beijing: Typhoon Dolphin swept past waters north of Taiwan on Sunday, triggering hundreds of storm-related incidents and leaving six people injured.
The local disaster response center revealed that 632 incidents had been reported across Taiwan. The incidents included fallen trees, damage to roads and tunnels, collapsed shipping containers and rockfalls along highways.
The typhoon's outer circulation brought powerful winds and heavy rainfall to several parts of northern Taiwan. The local meteorological agency issued heavy rain and strong wind warnings.
