Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 75.29 points (+0.93%) when the bourse closed trading at 8,212.86 points Monday.
The volume of shares traded increased to 10,127,189 from 6,959,689 on Sunday and the value of shares increased to QR186,041,568.13 from QR183,035,309.42 on Sunday.
From the 44 companies listed on QSE, shares of 38 saw trading today. From these 32 gained and 6 companies closed lower today.
Indices of six sectors ended in green and remained one sectors ended in red today. QSE Total Return Index gained +0.93 to 13,772.48 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index increased +0.72% to 3,296.97 points and QSE All Share Index added +0.48% to 2,308.46 points.
