To make your stay at home easier and entertaining, we have put together a list of events that you can check out on cyberspace and one very interesting exhibition, which you can visit in person. We will keep adding more events over the days. In case you come up on something interesting please do share with us.

DFI: Short film of the week

Another unmissable short film from Doha Film Institute (DFI) is out this week. ‘Kashta by Qatari filmmaker A.J. Al Thani – shows a man teaching his young sons how to track and hunt. It strikes just the right balance of calm and calamity, adolescence and adulthood, a seemingly simple story with a sense of gravity that will echo with anyone who has seen an innocent plan go horribly wrong. Picasso exhibition at Fire Station

The exhibition features 108 extraordinary artworks by Pablo Picasso selected from the unparalleled collection of the Musée national Picasso in Paris, including paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints and ceramics. The museums, galleries and heritage sites are open between the hours of 9am to 3pm.  According to the current situation, visitors are required to reserve tickets in advance on the QM website.  Those of 12 years of age and older are required to wear masks, present a “green” health status on the Ehteraz virus tracing app and are checked for normal temperature at the entrance.
